Or, you can use the contact page to get more information.

Do I have to provide my own trains in order to operate as a member at the club?

No. The Milwaukee Lionel® Railroad Club does have a good selection of both O-gauge (only) locomotives and rolling stock that members can operate on our layout. Some examples are shown below. We have both conventionally operated (transformer-controlled) locomotives and remotely controlled units. Of course, you can bring and operate your own equipment too. We are able to accommodate most 3-rail O-gauge locomotives and rolling stock somewhere on our layout. This includes prewar O-gauge. We also have a special loop on the upper level for Standard Gauge equipment. The club does not have Standard Gauge equipment that is used regularly by members.

Does the club offer training so I can learn to operate trains on the various parts of the club layout?

Yes. There is both a basic and advanced training session held a couple times each year. The basic session covers conventional train operation (transformer-based) and operating on the less complex areas of the layout. The advanced course includes instruction on remote operation and covers the more complex portions of the layout. Check the Calendar of Events for the latest information about scheduled training sessions.
